MVEA met with MVWSD on Wednesday, December 1, to continue to negotiate 2021-22 contract reopeners.
- MVEA and MVWSD signed a tentative agreement for Article 10: Evaluations to align dates
- MVEA sent Article 3: Hours and Article 5: Compensation proposals to the district on Monday so we were able to begin the day with counterpropsals from MVWSD
- MVWSD countered Articles 3, 5, and 7
MVWSD’s counter proposals are all CONTINGENT ON OUR CLOSING OUR CONTRACT FOR NEGOTIATIONS UNTIL SCHOOL YEAR 2024-2025.
What does it mean to close a contract?
